I don't know what the deal is, but Nyaa doesn't let me put in the URL for the group or even make a comment when I submit the torrent.
Still, we're here with episode 12. Faster than ever. Probably could've had this out 12 hours sooner if it weren't for Christmas stuff, which I should get back to.

Maybe I should throw in a few notes...
-Donovan likes talking with his tongue sticking out. There's a few phonemes, in his Japanese lines, that are messed up for it. I tried to... more or less, get the same thing down without making the lines unreadable. Pretty much just the S's.
-I was going to use "caveman" instead of "primitive man". But you might notice that Santana uses the same term, (but it'll be towards Joseph, you see), in the preview for the next episode. I wasn't sure it'd sound quite the same coming out of Santana's mouth.

I ran out of relevant slowpokes...
But episode 11 is out and now confusing people looking for a sub of 12:

We hope to start getting some feedback. From critics on blogs and from Viewers Like You™. Don't hesitate to drop in on the channel to say hi or ask why _.
Episode 13 is going to be on a week-long hiatus for the holidays, it seems. It won't be airing until the 4th. Which means I might be able to translate most of the Phantom Blood backlog over the holidays.
More than almost anything, I'd like to go over in detail the process I went through to translate Bloody Stream the way I did. But I'm still busy right now translating episode 12. Expect a gigantic post in the near-future that nobody will give two shits for.

But then,
Disregard that, I still can't mux for shit.
Also, I just sawJeeg Kilowog on the boards and I certainly have not made myself out to be in any sense a competitor for MMM.
Still, I hope my heart is in the right place.
Episode 11, version 2:
Torrent: http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=torrentinfo&tid=383981
After episode 12 when we work out the translation and styling for Bloody Stream, the release schedule can be more steady. Then I'll have time to work on the Phantom Blood backlog.
OH GOD THIS IS AMAZING
I HAVE TO SUB THIS AND I HAVE TO SUB IT NOW
NO TAKING A WEEK LIKE EPISODE 1 DID
Wait, wait...
DDL: Pending
Also, I just saw
Still, I hope my heart is in the right place.

I will try to be brief about what happened
I stubbornly wanted to encode episode 2 myself, from a ts raw (which is as raw as it comes) obtained from a very kind person as a favor from an acquaintance who'd probably rather I not name them either. I have few contacts in fansubbing other than the persons I'd figuratively tapped, and the few encoders that we cold-called did not have time to spare to take on this series.
So I tried doing it solo, with some outdated tutorials. I wanted a product that looked good and had the Jojo-related commercials (the CMs for the BD release which featured stuff like Koyasu redelivering Dio lines really fast, the "Morioh" animated shorts, and possibly the figure ads... but only new CMs, no rerunning every week). Nutbladder is doing that now and reception as far as I know is mixed. It is my own fault for choosing to do this, and not just reencoding the regular raws most everyone has access to.
Then MudaMudaMuda showed up, and they were doing an even better job than Commie. I was eager to collaborate with them, since I thought our typesetters and possibly myself proofreading could add enough polish to make for a definitive JJBA group. But they are three guys who've been working comfortably together on other projects for a while, and more people (us, strangers even) would've only kept them from getting their release out fast enough to compete. They were using reencodes too so they couldn't help me with my workload, which was rapidly increasing.
The combination of all of the above has made me stop trying to encode episode 2. We are now setting our sights on the uncensored Blu-Ray home release. All three episodes from volume 1 are already long-translated. Assuming the official english subs on the BD are satisfactory, my own will be attached as a secondary (tertiary?) track. Encoding for BD is another can of worms altogether, but at least I have another two months to try.
Thank you, to everyone (including SundayMorningRunnerFag) who's been holding a torch for us. Not to mention my typesetters for their patience. Please support MMM, whose non-JJBA work I've also enjoyed.
Alternatively,

Episode 1 (Version 2)
http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=torrentinfo&tid=362479
I've made a huge mistake which involved not attaching the fonts. I've done my typesetters a huge disservice, and given you an incomplete release which even after my sad-sack post makes me only want to genuflect twice as much.
Last week was exhilerating for me and I know how I could've avoided this mistake, I hope never to make so critical an error again.
(In addition, translation of episode 2 is underway. If anyone can still help out with the other critical early stages, we still need help...)

Help Wanted
We require, in order to make episode 2 and onwards the best it can possibly be, individuals with experience in:
-Raw Providing
-Encoding
-Editing (of either of the above)
Last episode, we were very lucky to have found someone to do the above for us on a one-time basis only. I do not feel we'll be so fortunate this time.
Being a fan of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is an asset, but not a requirement.
Fire us an email at getbacksubs@gmail.com or pop into our IRC at #jojo-staff on rizon. If your group likes Jojo, and would like to collaborate; we'd be happy to talk about it.

Episode 1 is released

EDIT: I am sorry if you felt let-down by this. It's a 10bit release, which I'm not upset about. the unknown encoder did it that way by default. I'm not going to damage-control by saying how good it looked for me. If you can run 10bit and it looked bad enough for you to be upset, then I have failed you.
I am sorry if a small amount of British English, or the diction of some of the lines, turned you off to the script. I hoped I'd found a way to more flexibly translate by having some Victorian-era grammar to use in awkward-to-translate lines such as Erina's admonishing of Jojo's carving. This is my own gross inexperience talking. If my script made you angry about deviating from modern grammar, then I have failed you.
My typesetters did a good job, in my opinion. I'm very lucky to have had them. I also had issues at 12:31 with the typesetting on the small logo, I asked that they typeset it the same as they did the main title wordmark. At least one person had their player crash. If this was an issue, I hope it can be rectified by unchecking the "Auto-load subtitles" box in MPC's Options -> Playback; or updating xy-VSFilter. If you dropped us because of playback problems, then I have failed you.
As leader of [GetBack], I didn't expect to make everyone happy. But I wanted to make the best possible release, one worthy of archiving, even if only by a small margin. I hope everyone was not as disappointed as some.
